Crytek revealed today that a new set of map packs are now available for Crysis 2 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (when the store updates).
Decimation Map Pack DLC, retailing for 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99, will feature five new multiplayer maps- 5th Avenue, Chasm, Plaza, Prism, and Apartments. Along with new maps, two new equipment items will also be included in the DLC- FY71 Assault Rifle and M18 Smoke Grenade.
The DLC is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace. PS3 owners will have to wait for the PlayStation Store to update later this afternoon.

The decimation pack is avalaible in the pc store on the mp menu right now!

Oh crap... theyre dividing even more this small comunity. I don't mean to be a cinical asshole but there aren't so many players online and i don't think its worth it to buy with such low player population. As i remember People had trouble playing retaliation DLC because of no servers and extremely low players population with bought DLC. Im still gonna play good old maps Tho they should have released first DLC for free so they could raise population and then release DLC so people can buy it and play with it full on 8v8. Peace out

it still costs 10 dollars, thats all that matters and will stop me from buying a 2nd dlc.

Sorry for the double post, but this DLC is a lot cheaper then the previous one... The previous contained 4 maps for 9 $ and this contains 5 maps, 2 weapons and a smoke grenade for 9 $!

No, when a lot of other games you can get hundreds of maps for free. Charging for map packs is stupid but we cannot make our own because Crytek didn't release the editor.

Wow we have a smoke grenade in it and 2 new weapons alongside,and its only 10€ here in EU.I would rather give that 10 bucks to a homeless guy.

Utter nonsense and marketing talk. The worst thing ever to happen to PC gamers was the XBox 360. Microsoft single handedly killed PC exclusive games and handed developers an easy way to make quick money off muliplatform games by making crap like Games For Windows Live, which is utter fail.

Microsoft as usual use force(money/tactics) with Xbox ports and software on the PC community, even to the point where you cannot play the game with a PC controller and have to use an Xbox controller(GTA IV is a good example).
