Is it just me, or..

does jump seem very weak? This is my first game and my acrobatics is at level 50 and it still feels like I am only jumping 2 feet.. In Oblivion I felt like I could jump a lot higher early on.. The jump is so weak in morrowind, it almost feels useless. I can't even jump onto a small rock.. :(

50 Acrobatics isn't that high, though. It also depends on your encumbrance (the less you carry, the higher you jump.)

Unlike Oblivion, there are Levitation and Jump spells to help you get around.

Yes depending on your encumberance and skill level you might not jump far. But When it gets really high and little wieght on ya, you can jump pretty far.

Yeah raise your strength and acrobatics to 100, and don't carry that much. You'll then be able to easily jump the Oda? river at Balmora. Who needs bridges

I have around 80 acrobatics on my sneaky light armor character and he can pretty much fly. And like others said, jump and levitation spells can literally let you fly.

In Oblivion 50 is a moderately high level for any stat but in Morrowind 50 is like average. Eventually you'll practicaly be able to jump over small buildings.
