So I've been getting a lot of problems with Oblivion on the 360 lately. First it was running really slowly, to the point where it was unplayable, but I cleared the cache and that fixed it right up. Now, often times when I save my game, the save file appears corrupt as it does not correctly load. I've noticed that when I reload the save while I'm already playing the game it will put me in a position where I'm stuck and I can look around but I can't move, plus what would appear to be my gauntlets are dangling in front of me, floating in mid air. This lasts for a few seconds until oblivion completely freezes and I have to restart my xbox. Otherwise, if I load a save from the main menu, it will load nearly all the way, like to the very end and just one tiny bit away from being complete, then freeze. However, I can still partially here the sounds from the game, mostly the everscamps that follow me everywhere because I am doing that quest. This error has happened to me numerous times in the past couple days, and it's really hindering the progress of my game and bothering me. However, one thing I noticed is that it tends to only happen when I save indoors, as my saves seem to have no trouble loading if I save them while my character is outside.
So can anyone help me identify this problem, and how to fix it? I've tried clearing the cache multiple times to no prevail and I'm not sure what will work now. I cannot install the game to my Xbox because I have an old one which has no room on it and no room can be made to install it. What is going on here?
EDIT: Oh yeah another thing, I am playing on the completely unpatched version of the game. However, I also cannot patch it at the moment because my internet has been having troubles and I haven't been able to connect to it on my Xbox for the past week and I have no idea when I will be able to again.
