High-Resolution Fallout 3 Concept Art

Post » Tue Aug 25, 2009 11:23 am

Did Bethesda ever release any high resolution versions of the concept art that would be suitable for print?

I'd like to hang the rivet city concept painting on my wall.

I'd buy a high quality print if they were available as well.

The only concept art I have is from the book and 'making of' DVD. Perhaps if you e-mail them, they may give you some higher res versions? I'd like a few copies myself :)

Well, I know they offer some concept art as wallpaper on the main Fallout 3 site, but the maximum resolution they offer is (after cropping the letterboxing) 1680x750, which isn't even big enough for my desktop, let alone suitable for printing at a large size.

I'd like to make some 36" wide prints and frame them. I can't get enough of the hand painted concept art, and it'd look wonderful properly framed.

I'm hoping the original artists, or Bethesda themselves have the original high-res images still, or maybe someone has seen them floating around?

Like I say, I'd pay for a print if they were at all available.

There are some posters on e-bay that I've found, and a map of D.C that's poster-sized in the guide, other than that I've seen nothing. It's a shame too, even without the concept of the game they're still amazing images.

Maybe if there's enough demand on here, someone will release some high-res pics.
