The most simple quick way of getting caps quick is to exterminate various enemies, looting everything they carry and selling them.

In short: just play the game. You WILL have more caps than you can spend in the future. Enjoy while money still poses a challenge.

Yes just kill some enemies i.e Raiders at the Super-duper mart and loot and sell. Repairing the pipes in Megation will give you 200 caps. I'm at the start of the game and already got 500+ caps by doing this.

*cough* 500 *cough*

you have mothership zeta? get abducted without having anything, and youll be overweighed with expensive alien tech.

if you get overweighed i think you can stash your stuff at the engineering core. thats NOT taken away from you

It won't....it has some other benefits.

as others have said, loot loot loot.. Use your repair skill also, you get a better price for items in better condition.

Play the game. I thought I had the same problem as you, but after level 10-15 (perhaps even sooner) you'll be racking up caps like crazy. The real problem is ammo. I would highly suggest getting the Scronger perk despite what people say about it. It's not only about saving caps but it's about not running out of ammo. Even with the perk I run out of Lincoln Repeater/Blackhawk ammo all the time. :cryvaultboy:

.44 Magnum ammo is the rarest type of small guns ammo, though. To my mind, the feel of 'post-apocalyptic wasteland' is eroded by the lack of real resource problems. Once you get into the swing of things, obaining enough materiel to wage your own personal war doesn't even require any application. That at least one ammo type is in short supply is a saving grace, IMO.
