I dont use dx 11 but I was just wondering since I found an option in my gtx460 support disk to download dx11, would that help the performance of dx11 in crysis 2 now that I have installed dx 11 from my support disk or does it not matter?

If you have Dx11 then you have Dx11

I don't know what is on that disk, maybe a DirectX install pack! It's likely you have a more recent version installed anyhow if you have installed Crysis2 or any other recent game - they update DirectX as they install. You card has hardware support for DX11 so there is nothing extra you need to install to get DX11 on your system.

What version of Windows are your running? If you have Windows 7, you already have directX 11 on your operating system, if you have Vista, then you can upgrade to dx11, if you have'nt already. If you have XP, you can't install Dx11 for your operating system as far as I know. You can always check your directX version by typing "dxdiag" in the run box / search box in the start menu.
