Ha! I've seen him in all kinds of crazy places on my Pipboy map during the quest when he is still being followed by the marker. I think the dumbest one I've seen him go to is Fairfax Ruins. I'd love to see him getting beat on by the Raiders.

It's common to have this happen. He will follow you from a short distance, but the best one for me was little Ralphie, Dave's son who stands at the gate to the republic of Dave. I went there once to get the Perception bobble head and He tells me He has to take me to " president daddy". I blew Him off, got the bobble head and left, thinking nothing of it. I headed across the map, days later to Deathclaw sanctuary to get the Endurance bobble head and I always run a circuit, from East to west across the top of the map collecting books and stuff. I got to the tower (KB-5 broadcast) above the sanctuary and take a nap. Wake up and theres little Ralphie telling me He has to take me to see President Daddy. Who in their right mind would send a little boy across the wastes to bring me back ?? What a jerk.

I've never seen him anywhere after I start the quest but the shelter.

All you people who want to kill a little kid who just lost his father and starts a quest for you that will give you +1 strength or
perception need to have your heads examined and maybe your genitals removed so that you don't breed.

Of course you'll probably never leave your mom's basemant or have the courage to talk to the opposite six so breeding is unlikely for you anyway.

I've seen him as far as Megaton and Fairfax before doing the related quest.

But after the quest, if I've talked with his aunt, he is always in Rivet City.

I've seen Rivet city guards near the library today...dunno what they were doing there.

They seems to be a bit paranoid also.Shooting at shadows and screaming : 'they're everywhere!'

Brian Wilks is the single most irritating, poorly written character in the entire game. He doesn't deserve to die, but his creator/writer deserves to be forced to repeat grade school english/writing classes.

Also I find it somewhat ironic that you're slinging insults and accusing others of being basemant-dwelling losers when they at least are in touch with reality enough to know IT'S A VIDEO GAME AND IS NOT REAL.

I'd also argue that you might be the one in need of psychiatric intervention on account of your love of fictional young boys and fixation on mutilation of genitalia.

When i first joined this forum, i remember reading a thread where there were posters complaining that there are no options to kill the children.

The excuse that it's only a video game and is not real and therefore you can do anything can only go so far IMO. Imagine if there's a video game where you can [censored] and kill children...will you do it? after all it's not real and only a video game , right?

And to be fair...almost ALL the character in FO3 were written in a cheezy way, not just Wilkes. But therein lies the charm in my opinion. This game clearly doesn't take itself too seriously, but that's also one of it's major plus point in my book.

You could kill children in Fallout 1 and 2, which would make you a "child killer," for which there were repercussions in the various towns.

And who said anything about [censored] children? I'm just going to point out the fact that you brought it up and see if you can figure out why that reflects poorly on you.

Finally, Brian Wilks' dialogue is objectively among the worst in the game. It contains numerous logical fallacies and outright contradicts itself more frequently than would be expected of someone with a middle school level of writing ability and education.
