Help with MP Minimaps

K so Im working on a MP map and When i "generate a minimal" the .tif file that is created is all distorted and messed as well are the coordinates. I've posted over at crydev.net but getting no help over there, Can any of you map creates steer me in the right direction? **cough** WaR_SpIrIt help **cough**
For example this is what I want my minimap to look like:

But when i generate a minimap this is what comes out with the coordinates set to this image:

Also download Paint.net.

Once you've generated your minimap open it in paint.net and edit it however you like then save it as a .dds file.

I found I was having to resize the image also to 512*512 and rotate the minimap at least 3 times with trial and error by loading it into the server before it was the right size and rotation.
