I heard you kinda can mod the xbox360 version of FO3, its called hexing.
what the heck is hexing?

I'm not an Xbox owner, but logic tells me:

1. This thread will be locked quick if not flat out deleted. Beth and M$ doesn't support/condone hacking the Box.

2. Hexing is short for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexadecimalediting. On the Xbox this would require "illegal" tools to circumvent the security and allow you to customize the OS into allowing you to run "outside" programs/tools such as a hex editor.

Probably involves hacking the hexadecimals in the game files. Also probably requires a mod chip. If my knowledge of other hex-editing examples is right, it's a right pain in the butt for very little gain. You could maybe change a character's inventory and add a billion stimpacks, but adding a new weapon or something wouldn't work out too well.

Definitely isn't condoned by Microsoft, and hence I expect this to be locked.

Illegal, looks like a PC version is your only way to these awesome mods

Ah, so it's just a question then, ok no harm in that. My xbox just E74'd on me so I'm a bit pissed at microsofts so called quality assurance...Stick to PC I also have both versions by the way, not sure why

Just get a PC, then you can have the GECK, FO3Edit, FOSE, the benefit of the modding community's work, etc...

It is not illegal, you do not need a mod chip, it is all free, you need a Data Migration Cable, and it is very fun to do
