I am not saying the option to manually save is bad. It can be useful. But solely relying on it in a console environment is dumb
The point is to have both. Many games manage it. Autosaves as safety nets, and manual saves for when you want them.
That's why I said, "When porting to console." It's not an issue to manually save on a PC.
