I'm from the US, and really want the Collector's Edition that can be found here:

I tried buying it but it says it's not available to be purchased from the states. If there is anyone who knows a way around this, or is willing to buy me a copy and ship it and be refunded with extra, please let me know. I'm already expecting a version that is available to me, but as a collector, it's hard for me to pass this up if there's any way I can get it.

Hey, that's the one I'm getting!

To be honest mate (sorry, I just had to), you're not missing out on much. Sure the steelbook looks kindof cool, but the art cards will most definitely be in the 200(?) page book of concept art in the original collectors edition. The only thing I reckon it's worth it for the the A5 book, (smaller than your standard printer paper) to keep track of character stuff in the game.

Of course, if you wanted to pay for it to be shipped to me, as well as reimburse me for shipping it to you... But haha, that's not likely.

As for circumvention, the only real way is to get someone you trust to have it shipped to them in Australia, and forward it on to you.

Yeah, it doesn't look like you're missing out on much, what EB Games seem to be doing is just anybody who preorders gets it.

And sorry, but I wouldn't be very comfortable (nor most other people, I'd imagine) buying something for some stranger over the internet. Do you have any friends or family in Australia or New Zealand? I reccommend asking them.

Unfortunately no. Yeah, I understand the risks, and I've been hoping to come across one on eBay, but no luck yet. And the risk would be all mine anyway, not the person who opted to buy it for me. I'd transfer money before making them send it. Just was curious if there was anyone who was willing.

Well, I'm in sydney - and I'd be willing to do it for you. But I'm also a student, and not the wealthiest of them, so I wouldn't really want to pay for it before I was sure you were going to hold up your end of the bargain...

Let me get my repute up a little bit in this forum (I only joined today), and I'm out of town at the moment anyways. I'm studying for my HSC, which conveniently ends 10 days before skyrim gets out. If you'd like, I could go preorder a copy for you sometime next week, find out the shipping rates, and you could wire/send me the money anytime before 11-11-11, it doesn't cost me much to pre-order ($10-20AUD). I'll pick it up, and send it off to you with whatever shipping requirements you like. (Standard shipping rates are, I believe 2-5 days for a priority international courier, and 6-15 days for the general shipping)

I'm assuming you don't care about when you get it though, as you'll be purchasing a collectors edition in the states?
