I can't spend dragon souls! : V

I just killed a frost dragon absorbed his soul and can't spend it on my frost shout. I know you have to select the shout you want to spend it on and it should work. It keeps saying dragon souls are required but I just got one and it even says I have 1 soul. I seen a post recently about this but I never thought this would happen to me. Please tell me I'm doing something wrong? Do I need two souls for one shout?

You have to press a different button to unlock the shout. Look at the bottom of your screen, it should say there.

you need to press square if on the ps3 on the 360... im not so sure...

Its different keys to favirate, equip and spend souls on shouts.

I had the same issue. They should really put that you need to press R right on the message that the shout needs activated in BIG BOLD LETTERS.
