Sorry its me again...

I have tried every button i can find but i just cant find what they all do, and all i want to do is kill the first rat i meet!

It would be greatly recived if some one could tell me how i attack and also any other commands that i am likly to need to play the game with maximum enjoyment?

Buttons? You're trying to play TES game with a gamepad :blink:
They've been designed to more be played with keyboard and mouse.

OK, it would help if you said which game you are playing, but I'm going to assume Arena. To attack, hold down the left mouse button and swing the cursor around. Here is a http://www.svatopluk.com/arena/manual/ to the ES: Arena manual. It has a section on keys.

Oh and im not using a game pad, just my keyoard & mouse, just call them buttons on the games and buttons on my keyboard

If it's the attack you are wondering about, you just hold your right mouse button and swing your mouse around. Also, read the manual CrossL provided, Arena isn't as simple as some might think.

pretty easy.

arrow keys move you around. left click is select. hold down right click and move mouse to swing weapon.

F keys are shortcuts to the inventory and stuff.

Also make sure you have your weapon up and ready.
You should be able to see it on the screen.
Press the crossed swords icon to turn your weapon on for fighting and off for talking to people.
