Can't get into my damn game

It goes to the startup menu, with the normal "Play" "Options" and such, but when I press play it pops up the "Preparing to launch etc etc", AND THEN IT STARTS UP THE ****ING MENU AGAIN. I can't get into my damn game!

Did you make any manual changes to your Skyrim.ini or SkyrimPrefs.ini, played the game and saved the game then went and manually changed the Skyrim.ini or SkyrimPrefs.ini after?

Doing so makes any save game unloadable - save games need to have the same settings stored in both .ini files to load without dumping you out of the game.

I haven't changed anything. Not a single damn thing. I have no idea why it's doing this.

To the Skyrim Hardware and Software Issues Subforums for you I guess. That was my only suggestion because it happened to me.
