Well I have not exactly bashed the game I'm level 15 and am playing as a mage character however I keep switching to arch, on handed and sometime two handed.

I have completed the arcane collage quest line and have a wife, only up to meeting the grey beards and have 7000 gold is it worth restarting and sticking to ONE type of style.

Oh and what do you think is the best/ funnest way to play the game Eg: mage, one handed.......etc

just make a new mage, have one save for an all out char and one for your new mage

I like to start several characters and get them all to the first quest-hub before I chose the first one I take on a run-through.

My first run-through is a High Elf thief/assassin/sniper(archer) who has some innate magic (used for emergency healing) but I have several others waiting for me to pick up and run with.

I've played battle mage, pure mage, 1h + shield warrior and assassin/rogue so far and I have to say my assassin is the most fun by far. I use bows, one handeds for backstabs and illusion magic and the variety of ways you can approach a situation is so fun. I can sneak around and 1 shot people while going invis, sit back with my bow as they run around trying to find me or even pop out my master level frenzy spell inciting an entire fort of bandits to kill each other while I raid their chests I find the other play styles become so stale after a bit. Pure magic becomes a spam fest once you get magicka reduction items and I was impossible to kill with my shield warrior on master.
