Can anybody please tell me how to store items in my characters home in the PC version of the game?

It tells me to press the R key from in the game but pressing R doesn't work for anything including the crafting. :/

Have you opened a chest to store your things? Depending on your housing upgrades you'll also get bookshelves, weapon racks and mannequins to display armor.

I wouldn't know for computer. I believe you go to your inventory and click on what you want to put in to wherever

You mean drop stuff? It's the hotkey you use to take out your weapons.
