Assassinating multiple people in one room?

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 10:36 pm

So I'm frequently able to kill tons of people without being detected when I use my bow...but I'm interested in using my daggers a bit more. I want to be able to pop back into stealth. How should I do this? Run out of the room, hide til they give up looking for me, then come back for a second helping? Invest more heavily in the first perk of stealth tree, maybe they'll just never notice me? Something else?

when your sneak is high enough, you can pretty much walk in front of someone and assassinate them. just run away and try to get them to lose sight of you if someone sees you. youll have to do a bit of planning and running away when your low level, but thats half the fun.

My character could easily do it but I probably wouldn't do it. Detection after the 1st kill is very high.

Invisibility potions.

Those aren't 100% reliable like they were in Oblivion.

Safe to click if you don't mind spoiling what a potential reward for the completion of a certain faction is.
Spoiler
The Shadow Cloak of Nocturnal (once-per-day power) allows you to become invisible every time you crouch for two minutes. It is one of three powers capable of being chosen near the end of the completion of the Thieves' Guild. Perfect for situations like this... Muahahaha!

Spoiler aside, once you get Shadow Warrior, it shouldn't be too difficult to pull this off without magical or alchemical aid.

With high Sneak (80+), all the ranks of the first perk (40% harder to detect), a ring and necklace of sneaking, you're pretty much invisible. You can assassinate everyone in the room without having to worry about being seen.
