So I have stolen the elder scrolls. Read it on top of the mountain. Then a scene appears where dragonslayers slay a dragon. After they chat a bit and expecting alduin to land there. But alduin doesnt appear. The whole AI just stops working. They dragonslayers just standing there on the mountain waiting endlessly. And im in spectator mode so I cant do anything. I already loaded previous savegames but that doesnt solve it. Any news about this?

At first I thought it was funny that they had to put the sticky "DO NOT POST SPOILERS IN THIS FORUM" in all caps but some people just can't take a hint...

Not sure what "spoilers" involve. I guess it refers to anything I just said or asked. But I read the capital written sticky and there's a hyperlink to the spoiler forum. Atleast so it says. Instead it redirects me to the skyrim subforums. I may be a fool but im not blind. So if I can't ask my question here, where can I?

After following that link, click on the subforum called: "Skyrim Cheats, Hints, and Spoilers" You're right though, it would be better if the link went there directly.

A spoiler is a bit of information that shouldn't be read by someone who wants to be surprised by the actual product. It's as if I tell you the ending a movie before you watch it.

To be fair, I didn't read your post since I'm only halfway through but I've been in that wall where Aldwin is mentioned so I assume there are spoilers in what you asked.

You can also use the [ spoiler ] tag to hide them.

You giving away part of the story and quest is a spoiler. Not everyone has seen or done that yet so you just gave away a part of the storyline for people.

To answer your question, it's a bug. It happened to me the first time I read the scroll, but it worked after I reloaded the game. Just keep retrying. If you have the PC version, use the console to skip past that part or the quest entirely.
