Hello all.

I'm not doing any missions on this character. I'm just trying to role-play a thief who try not to murder people hehe..

Anyway, what is up with the kids in Skyrim? Do they never sleep? I break in into shops and whatnot, and what do I find? A child, awake, sitting on a chair.
And it's like this on several places, making life tough for my thief.

Is my game bugged or is this something more of you have experienced? It's very annoying and breaks the immersion. Some shops can't be robbed because of this.

I guess the hire kids that don't have to sleep as watchdogs in Skyrim

I know I've seen a kid or two sleeping in Dragonsreach.

Never really paid attention to this, but I'm sure children in the Riften orphanage were asleep when I broke in. Don't know about the others.

Child slaves being used as security!

They work cheap. Just don't pay them in septims. Because that little girl from Whitehall will beat them up for them.

I keep having to kick a kid out of my bed at Candlehearth Inn.

I see. Maybe my game is broken then.

It's scary as hell though.. walking into a shop, and seeing a child sitting on chair.. not doing anything. Just watching.
