WTF Dragon?

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 10:12 am

So I just "killed" this ancient dragon over dawnstar... except that its still flying. Its health bar has disappeared and it cannot attack or be harmed further, yet its eyes follow me. Sadly, I do not have dragonrend yet. Any ideas?

I've killed a dragon while it was in the air before aswell, and it flew around for a good 5 seconds before crashing into the ground. I think that.. even in death.. the dragons unscripted and random "do-whatever-the-hell-I-want" AI is still in place.. so it could take awhile before it decides it wants to die!

Probally just a glitch. I have killed a few Dragons and the body hasn't disappeared into that fireball thing it does. Meant i went through all that effort and didn't get a soul out of it <_< Instead of see through Dragon skeletons i have Dragon corpses lying around all over the place

It finally came crashing down and tried one last attempt to murder me after it went a good mile into the sky and then rag-dolled down to where it landed.

True dat, true dat...

Once, I found an ancient dragon sleeping in a basin, and I was like "oh [censored] the hardest enemy in the game D:", so I hit it.

I don't know if it's just the awful A.I. in this game, but the dragon uncurled itself, looked at me straight on, seemed to SHAKE ITS HEAD... and promptly burned me to a crisp.

Pfft, lucky! I was renting the game for thanksgiving vacation and had to return it, I never even fought an elder or ancient dragon and I was level 30 - 35 for the longest time. :( That's hilarious though, I can picture a dragon doing that too!

That's really strange. My assassin/thief/bow user was level 4 when she went to see the Jarl, and got the dragon at the west tower. She's now level 19, and has killed 5 more dragons. They just pop up randomly for her.

I'm level 20 and killed only one random dragon so far. I think I need to go into the wilderness more often...

Perhaps you'll get lucky like I did when a Dragon decided to light in the middle of Solitude and start wiping out civilians. . . I'm still not sure how many quests it broke killing people willy-nilly like that.
