I have been playing 80 hours and my save file is 13mb with huge lag. But does this save glitch also make load times (and I timed) 2 and a half minutes to load on each door or city I go in? Please help cause this is ruining experience time with the game.

Go into your memory and see if you can delete some of your older saves.

On Xbox, we can install the game to the HDD to prevent such problems. Can PS3 do the same? If so, try it.

Save, turn off console, and turn it back on and continue playing. Do it every time you start lagging.

Theres 2 things u can try before they come out with a patch. Not saying its going to help much....but worth a shot.

Turn auto save off.

Rebuild PS3.

Google the latter.

Got the PS3 version here too but I don't have any lag, though I don't have near as many hours as you. Some friends also have the game and I asked them about them having any lag issues. So far none of them have any yet. I read that you can restart your system I believe if the FPS begins to drop severely. Though I don't know if this is true since I have not had to try it. Give that a shot. I hope this is an issue that Bethesda is addressing in the patch for next week, if not, all we can do is hope it gets fixed swiftly and in the meantime if the lag is too great, make a different character to work on until its fixed.

Restarting it works temporarily. It WILL come back, but its not much trouble. It happens once every day right now for me, even less most of the time.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the feedback. It was only really getting me cause I was doing the thief guild (repetitive) quest to become master and the load times/lag was killing me to where the VA was being effected. I will try all of these and hope it helps. I didn't want to start another character till I really felt I finished this one, but till the patch I might...
