Kudos to those on the team who designed Markarth.

The city is breathtaking.

Understone is forbidding, and to include the Hall of the Dead and the ruins fleshes it out.... it is one of my favorite places so far.

The quests so far are also excellent - the Foresworn Conspiracy and the following quest are among my favorites.

I am having the time of my life with Skyrim. The writing and dialogue is much better than Oblivion (and any other ES in my opinion) and I enjoy the many 'types' of quests and dungeons - the dungeons feel so unique overall.

Just needed to compliment - great job Skyrim team!

Agree, first city I want to go to every time.

I'm still getting used to it. Today, after 72 hours of playing in the last two weeks, I finally managed to get to Markarth - delayed because I spent a good two/three real days in the Pine Forest hunting an axe wielding cursed ghost during the night - and Markarth, for me, is not a favorite just yet. In fact, I'm not a fan of the Dwarven ruins when I stumble across them and Markarth is built on top of one. Plus, its' numerous stairs and levels confuse me.

But in its defense, I have yet to spend a good amount of time there, so I'm sure I'll figure the layout soon enough but first impressions have not been good.

The House of horrors made me deppressed for a week....And the atmosphere of the forsworn conspiarcy was just dark.........Amazing city....Amazing quest!

My main house is on Markarth.
Awesome waterfall view only makes it that much better than everything else.


Oh and I don't know about the 2 forsworn quests you are talking about, I've only got one though I think I might have broken the quest chain.
