*spoiler* Civil war quest line

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 6:03 am

heya.

Just started the Imperial legion quest line, and im now at the quest *Message to whiterun*
My plans where to NOT do the mainquest, as i am fed up with all the dragons. Yet it seems im forced to do the mainquest in order for the jarl of whiterun to accept aid for the defense of whiterun. (after giving him the message)

-assist the jarl with the dragon problem....

any way to NOT do this as this quest triggers Dragon spawns ...

any help would be wonderfull

I was disappoint as well. I think the Stormcloaks can bypass this though.

so you mean its like this? ..... no way around it? sigh

what if you didnt had the quest *Bleak falls Barrow" , would that still trigger the "aid the jarl with the dragon problem" text?

Then you just get the quest to go to the barrow. To my knowledge you have to complete this one for both sides

ah well i have the dragon stone in my inventory, just i havnt givin it to the court wizard, becuz that would trigger the dragon slaying part, that im trying to avoid.

will try if he accepts aid after giving the dragonstone

edit: no it needs me to kill that effing dragon -_-

I know that irritates me too, i assume it's to cut down on all the dialog in case you replace him. Not really sure why that would affect the imperial side though.

Eh, the Civil War questline is rather short and repetitive/monotonous/predictable after a certain point.

The main quest is longer and more epic and interesting.
