It's just a mid-high end weaponry material. It's about on par with Elven weaponry. You can't make any Skyforge Maces or Warhammers.

Also no Forsworn maces or Ancient Nord maces or Hero Nord Maces or Falmer Maces.

Maces get no love.

Yeah I just found out myself.. It's easily the most tactical weapon of them all, due to the armor piercing. I wonder the testicle why there's no mace from skyforge steel and all the other materials named above. A mod on PC will surely fix it, quite fast too, but we on consoles will be stuck with less choices when it comes to maces.
