Anyone think this is a sign?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNLKLCZN8wc At 1:02 you can see the Dragon Born wearing only one shoulder pad.

Anyone think that pauldrens will be separate in this game, or is this wishful thinking?

one thing I loved in morrowind was cobbling together a suit of armour from wherever I could.

Yep, that was great and you could even chose the cloth you were wearing under, hope these features will be back in Skyrim.

It does look like he's only wearing one pauldron, and that armor looks more like Blade armor than Steel. Actually, it looks nothing like Steel. Having pauldrons back would be nice. It may just be wishful thinking, but I'm wishing it too.

It would be nice. That would mean the balance of the game would change the way items are enchanted. Otherwise each piece of clothing could be enchanted making you a powerhouse.

I don't care if pauldrons are included. I'd rather attention go to other areas honestly. Just never thought it was that big a deal. Boots, greaves, helmet, gauntlets and cuirass is enough for me.I don't want it to get too simplistic though, like taking away greaves. I think its fine now how it is

Ohh, I was looking at the actual shoulders haha.
I'm sure they've considered it, as they got a lot of feed back on it after Oblivion and now.

Second that. And depending on how enchantiments are done, warrior types might be more powerful than mages in terms of magic available.

Doesn't actually mean anything though, artists mess up all the time or maybe they just thought it looked cool that way... however I would love them to be separate.

I think his point was in Oblivion steel armor has one side larger than the other... he wasn't calling the armor in the pic oblivion's steel armor

MW didn't have it perfect but the enchantment capabilities of most-all armor was nerfed. I'd rather have more clothing (robe, pants, shirt, belt) available at all times and extra pieces optional without armor (cloak, gloves, hood, shoes)
