Can i make a suggestion?

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 9:34 pm

I am one of those players who love running around and collecting every type of armor and weapon you can find and placing it in my chest at my Whiterun home, i don't know why i do it i just enjoy it and treat it as if it were another quest. this leads me to my suggestion i would love to own a place in Skyrim where i can display all the armor and weapons i find and be able to equip them and return them safely know they will be there looking cool on a wall when i return.

Quest line could be your character was inherited a skyrim museum but the business is failing and you must collect and find unique weapons and armor from all races to keep it alive and you must protect it from thieves and stuff that would be cool in my opinion.

Ya but enough to display all of the weapons and armor? i realize its a stretch and im a minority but i just thought it would make for an interesting addition or add on. i love the game either way.

which house are you referring to tho whiterun doesn't have one. does it?

Are you serious? Wow, maybe I should explore more real estate than just Whiterun!

Having over 70K moneys, I only pick up stuff that bring in most cash. Flawless diamonds, Staffs, Enchanted weapons... if I would ever make a bummer investment, losing a lot of cash, I know where to find my gold ;)

The house in Windhelm seems to have the most mannequins (at 3). You can bet, though, that modders will add many more (sorry, consoles). Also, you can't sell your house back.

*edit* Windhelm also has the nicest layout I think. All of your displays are in same place instead of sprinkled throughout the house.

No. But given some time you will swim in excess cash.

Yea, in terms of functionality I don't really see a point in getting the Solitude house.

Bit of a spoiler: Completely finish the "Blood on the Ice" quest before purchasing ANY of the Windhelm house upgrades. Even then, you must first purchase the "clean up" upgrade before any of the others. Failure to do this results in a very annoying quest bug.

you are not alone in this OP. i keep a maxed out (legendary) version of one everything. or anything i come across thats interesting or unique. the down side is i'm experiencing the glitch where the weapon racks and displays don't work in any of my homes.
