Assassin-- are 1-handed perks necessary?

**POSSIBLE SPOILER**

With the gloves from the Dark Brotherhood, you get the x2 damage from backstab, and with the one perk point in the stealth tree you get the x15 damage with daggers. So I assume that dual daggers + gloves + stealthed = x60 damage, correct? If this is the case, are ANY one-handed perks really necessary to 1-shot enemies (Master difficulty)?

I'm EXTREMELY OCD with perk points, and I have my build pretty much all figured out. I don't really want to have any points in 1-handed if it's not necessary, just wanted some input. Thanks!! :foodndrink:

I would, and did mostly beacause you will almost never be facing only one opponent. Unless you never dungeon dive and stick to towns. The on-hand perks buff the damage of your daggers plus what you'll be using to face the other scum.

There will be situations where combat is unavoidable so why not be prepared by being atleast decent using some kind of weaponry, what kind is entirely up to style/taste.

Also, this has to be the 20th Assassin "build" thread I've seen this week alone, which makes me feel like doing what your avatar is doing.
