I also do. A massive water fall would be great, or at least something much bigger then Oblivion. And also some huge cliffs would be cool

they had waterfalls in Oblivion, I'll admit they came outta no where, but I don't think you need to have running water and currents to make them work. Although currents would be cool.

Huge epic waterfalls would be nice ^_^

Not really, rivers and waterfalls are different technical beasts. Morrowind had a bunch of waterfalls, but none of them were really large or epic.

Waterfalls (including frozen ones as mentioned) would be great, and a convincing flowing river rapids/whitewater effect is something I've always wanted to see done well in a fantasy game. I hope Skyrim's new engine is up to it...

Of course you can't have waterfalls without secret passages and eerie ambient caves hidden behind some of them.

You don't need rivers to have beautiful waterfalls.
http://www.lapthop.com/technology/international+architecture+competition+olympic+gam :P

But yeah, some improvements to water in general would be awesome:
* Sea with actual waves depending on wind force.
* Maybe tidal forces depending on moon.
* Rivers with steps and local flow direction and forces of it you can feel.
* Small steps with moderate flow speed, some with fast flow speed.
* Large falls, creating a lot of mist.
* Local spin vortexes that svcks you down.

The problem about doing this in Oblivion (and most computer games really), is the extreme variations in the landscape pretty much making sure there would be nothing but steps due to lack of flat enough areas. Other than ad hoc rivers possible from mountains, I can only see one possible river in Skyrim. Located at the east end, I sure hope I'll be able to see Vvardenfell and it's mountain region from the coast (if map is that big). Even if I'm not going to be able to swim across.

If Bethesda really wants to put in some impressive waterfalls, I'm sure Gstaff will support a little home-state inspiration:

I'm sure they could add rivers without complaint.
