Should you be able to buy upgraded equipment?

Seriously the smiths in Skyrim sure seem to spend a lot of time improving weapons and armor at workbenches and grinding wheels considering they don't ever sell any of it.

I think there should be a random chance of buying fine through flawless items, with epic and legendary requiring smithing to create.

I think any level of weapon quality should be randomly available. Rarely, but randomly. Keyed to the character's level for sure, but random and rare all the same.

That would be nice, then you are not basically forced to take Smithing if you want good gear.

they should unlevel the list. if your character worked his butt off scrounging around every crypt and selling all the loot he should be able to buy that ebony sword or glass armor if it shows up at the shop. it should be ridiculously expensive and rare but it should have a chance of being there. besides the way the system is set up your skills/perks account for the vast majority of the damage and defense of you gear not the actual equipement. the system of only allowing stuff tied to your level is artificial and just silly. "hey look here comes a customer......looks like hes level 22. Honey, would you go hide all the gear thats better than dwarven so he cant see it." its just [censored].
