You can marry a girl, and she will let you live at her place, cook you food everyday, and give you the money she made. WTF, it ain't this easy in real life!!! Dang wimminz, wish my real wife was like my Skyrim wife...

Now, time to delete history so she doesn't ever see this ;)

Dont marry, play on master, turn off the HUD, dont use magic or enchantmented gear, use base level equipment, dont use the map, turn off the music.

Agree, it took me 10 hours to go from empty pocket to buying a house in Skyrim while in real life I'm 31 and still pay rent. :sadvaultboy:

I wouldn't get married in real life, not doing it in a video game...

Do you regularly go spelunking in ancient civilisations' ruins? No? Hm. Might be time for a career change!

In skyrim it's really nothing more then wearing an amulet of Mara and finding a marriageable NPC, also while many in skyrim are very racist, they seem to be very open-minded on the issue of gay/lisbian-marriage. Also unlike real marriage, in skyrim your parent gives you lots of stuff and asks for very little in return.

You haven't played long enough. Once you get in about 100-150 hours of gameplay AFTER you get married you lose the 'married rested' bonus because she's not sleeping with you anymore. She then moves in her mother who complains because you are constantly away fighting dragons, and finally, your miscellanious quest list starts filling up with stuff needing to be done around the house. And all of this is on NOVICE, I can't imagine how it would be on master!

I just got funny looks from people around the room for laughing at a computer. I'm not sure if I hope you're serious or not

Strongly suggest deactivating the compass for any player. I shut it off in the ini a few hours in and at 175 hours I couldn't be happier. Makes you use clairvoyance, much cooler and more organic.

yea earlier today i recieved a misc quest to have a fight with the wife about not making the bed, then throughout the conversation the old speechcraft minigame that was in Oblivion would pop up and I had to select everything that said "I was wrong, and your right" dialogue.

maybe your real wife is fed up with you sitting around playing Skyrim all day and is not being so easy because your a fat lazy bastard! ;p

if you went out and killed a dragon, dragged home chests full of treasure, rode a horse in shining armour and had a handy way of being able to light a fire with the click of your fingers maybe she would be more accomodating! LOL!

May is I recommend dark souls. Not only is it innovative in ways skyrim can't even dream of but the first enemy you fight is more challenging and varied than skyrims whole catalog. For instance normal enemies will actually change swing times to make anticipation more difficult. The overall theme of dark souls is also not a sad fantasy cliche like skyrim.

Killing dragons, bringing home treasure and being a knight in shining armor wouldn't be enough- you'd still have to come home and talk about your 'feelings'.
