Has anyone else had a problem with the Companions quest line glitching after the Silver Hand attack on Jorrvaskr? Came back from the "errand" or whatever to find J'skr has been attacked, no one will talk, and the quest line is no longer available from the menu. Been like this for quite a while, even "in game" time. Anyone?

I just did the compagnion questline and I had no problem with it. Did you try to talk to them and see if it continues it? Did you go inside the compagnion building?

iirc, someone (Vilkas maybe?) should run up to you after you enter and explain everything. Try seeking him out.

If that doesn't work and you're on PC, you can use the console to advance the quest. Other than that, you may be SOL.

Yeah, I've tried talking to everyone. I've probably done 20-30 quests since it happened and keep trying to come back. Every time there are the 2 Companions out front talking about how "these 2 silver hands wont be a problem anymore", go inside and everyone else is crouched over dead bodies and wont talk. I was hoping one of the updates might fix it, but no. Might be screwed.

Yes, there are no dialogue options with Vilkas. I have already conceded that I wont be able to finish it. Just wondering if anyone else had encountered the same problem, or possibly had an idea for a fix.

In just made a 'What's wrong with Aela' post, and I thought I'd throw in that her problems started at the same time you described, at the moment I found the Silverhand attack....don't know if both glitches have the same source.

Yeah, I saw in the Aela thread you mentioned the update did not fix it. I guess I'll just keep checking in periodically to see if it corrects itself somehow. My biggest problem with it not being able to get the well rested bonus since I'm stuck as a wolf.
