I would have taken a screenshot but since this could be so easily faked I didn't bother. I found Ustengrav and underneath the spiral stairs headed to the door was a chest, in the chest along with the usual coin and potion was a pair of Dragonscale boots. I was under the impression that the ONLY way to obtain dragon armor was by crafting.

Is this just a bug or can you actually obtain dragon armor by finding it?

I may have found those same boots.
I dont know where, but I know I have found them.

never found any dragonscale in my 2 playthroughs on both pc and 360.

i think i found one piece of daedric, was give a couple pieces of daedric and loads of ebony downwards etc.

i suppose i have to say, pics or didnt happen?

I got a shield in my first game, wasn't even that high level when I got it (mid thirties I think).
