As the description says. I for one miss having to travel everywhere by foot, or with a Silt Strider like in Morrowind.

Um.... you can travel everywhere by foot. I do it all the time. The only fast travel I think I have ever used was to get from high hrothgar back down to Ivarstead.

Fast travel helps too much. There are quests or other things that send you from one point of the map to another, and if you already discovered all of that from point A to point B then I sure as hell will fast travel there. Not sure what are those other things you posted since I only played Oblivion for like 20 hours and never found those so can't comment on those.

The horse and cart is precisely the same as the silt stider. Therefore, I don't see your point.

I for one don't use fast travel on my dedicated characters. I maybe have only 1 character on which I use fast travel. However I don't think it's a good idea(from Beth's point of view) to remove fast travel. Not all people are RP hardcoe, and they might not like this(hence Beth might risk losing some customers). And hey, if you have it, you can use it or not, you always have a choice (depending on how strong-willed you are). If you don't have it...well, you don't and that's that.
