So, I'm level 27 and I have been playing with my elven bow for quite some time, but I want to get something more powerful. Does anybody know where I could buy/steal a better bow?

either you find them in chests or buy them in shops.


you could also just smith them, which is the easiest way, but i think you don't want to smith your items.

What bow will I get?

the one you get there is the best looking bow in the game imo, there might be better ones here and there, but nothing beats the way it looks.

You can conjure a better one Comes with free daedric arrows too haha

Enhanced version is like legendary.. next perk soul steal and last perk adds banish.

Glass bows are better than elven too.

Or Ebony or.. if you can find one... Daedric.

The Nord Hero Bow WOULD be nice except it's still glitched and can't be improved.... however you might find a Honed Ancient Nord Bow which is just about equivalent.

You have enchanting or smithing?

And yah... Thieves guild quest has a nice bow at the end of the tunnel

I'm not really into enchanting or crafting. I'd prefer to find it or buy it... and I dont really want to have to complete the thieves guild to get it...

I found a ebony bow in a dungeon at level 18, I was pretty happy about it considering I was using a pos ancient Nord before that.

Just go dungeon diving and hopefully you will find one.

That's an Elven Bow...

I'm around that level and I've been using supple ancient nord bows. Search for them on drouger. I just found a glass bow at level 24.
