Possible Alchemy Bug?

Post » Mon Dec 19, 2011 8:43 pm

I figured I might as well ask about the problem I am having. Back when I was around Level 10, I tasted some Nirnroot to learn about it's effects, and I saw that it was Damage Health. I took a mental note in case I wanted to make a potion later, and went on my adventures from there. Later, I noticed that the effect stayed (though not in the Active Effects list), but it was too late to reload. Right now, at Level 29, without any clothes equipped I have 217/217 health. :(

So I was wondering, was this intended? Or is it some sort of bug associated with Nirnroot? In any case, I was wondering if there was a fix for this, or if there is an ingredient that has a Fortify Health effect. Any help would be appreciated.

In Fallout there was food that gave you a boost a +2 to intelligence but -2 towards charisma for a short period of time. There was a bug that still gave you the negative effects even after it wore off. Same bug that's in skyrim.
