Dark brotherhood followers


I just finished the Dark brotherhood quest line. Do you have an unlimited number of followers or do you only get two and the joker? Just in case I get one killed on a quest.

Man, that's not nice. Thanks for spoiling I'm really angry right now, since i'm playing through the DB questline, but well, whatever.
