Not a single Character seems "human" or even elf! They all fit an archetype and don't change at all no matter what you do. Maven is always a [censored], Mercer isn't nice to you so you automatically deduce that he's a bad-guy, Babette will never shut up about being a child , Nearly every npc will tell you about their trade, khajit traders are nice and friendly and probably the best characters in the game, most court wizards are [censored]s.. etc! you never see ANYONE change! In my 142 hours of skyrim the only sign of a more human npc could be gained from reading cicero's journals. Companions will journey with you for Days without even changing the lines they use around you!

If you want an RPG with three dimensional characters then go play a BioWare game.
