I tried out mining for the first time in a big way to see about making some things using smithing. I only have 2 iron ore mines that I have discovered so far so I went and took all the ore from both of them. I then returned the next day for more ore but found all the ore was still gone. so checked on the internet to see how long it takes ore to respawn and it said about a month in game time. how can anyone take up being a miner and smithing if you can only do it once a month in game time (I realise game time and real time are two different things)

There are atleast 20 iron ore mines in skyrim. I do understand what you mean though.
