Hybrid

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 12:48 am

Hi guys/gals,

I'm thinking of making a Hybrid character, which will be based on stealth and spellsword type characters. Things I'll encorporate in my fighting:

-Stealth
-One Handed
-Light armor
-Archery (no perks)
-Conjuration (Only for bound weapons perks)
-Destruction
-Alteration

Will this type of character work? What race would suit best (thinking Dark Elf)?

Any tips are much appreciated!

No Perks in Archery is not even worth pulling back the bow dude. Just spit on them

Agreed.
I'd cut out destruction - you've basically got three methods of dealing damage, which isn't necessary. I'd recommend illusion as a replacement.

Ditch alteration as well since your already using light armour, it's a waste or perks, might as well use a Breton with he attronach stone.

depends on how you plan on playing this character. If you are only using sneak/archery to begin the battle and plan on destruction for Runes and one handed for finishing the fight, it might be ok. Maybe even flames and sword might work. Play how you like, but I think others might be correct if you stick to only two damage skills especially if you are playing on higher difficulties.

Though be careful, if you perk out Archery as others have said, between sneak (w/ archery sneak damage perk) and archery (and a good bow, especially if you use the bound bow) you may not get much use out of the other skills.

I tried a build somewhat similar to this but found after a while I focused more on certain skills and all but ignored the others.
