I'm playing on hard and I was in a crypt where you can find one of the disarm shout words, I find the word of power but attacked by two deathlords, swiftly take one out but the other one shouts me to the wall with fus roh dah. I stand back up only to see the deathlord drop his 2-handed axe and literally challenge me to a fist fight by pointing at me, I unequip my daedric blade and shield and a scene from rocky flashed before my eyes, our health levels practically The same, bearly defeat him with a combo, that was the most amazing battles I've had, what was yours?

Soooooo he just decided to toss his weapon away did he? Sounds like troll tales to me.

I've killed Deathlords at insanely low levels. once on level 1 with an Orc.

Drauger FRD shout doesnt knock you off your feet, it just stumbles you.

There was this draug warrior that had clones and teleported every several seconds. Every time he spawned he would shout me across the room which wasted time for me to attempt to shoot the real one. Before I could, they would teleport again and immediately fus ro dah me when respawning. This happened 3-5 times consecutively before I swapped to my blade.


I've been launched across a room a few times. I normally just stumble over but on a few rare occasions I would go flying. It's epic and humiliating.

Those dry and crusty fingers get slippery sometimes.

Unless you disarm them, they will NEVER drop a weapon. From what I've seen after 1200 hrs. Your story is...weak.


EDIT : I just started a new character last night. I have a mod installed that makes the game insanely hard. My level 1 character (a Conjurer) played ring around the coffin with a level 20 Deathlord for 30 min.

That gave me goosebumps great story! Mine involved 7ish deathlords my two daedric blades and the most skillful display of sneak attacks I've EVER done. I almost threw up I was so nervous!

The only deathlords that does indeed shout you over (so to speak), are the ones coming out of coffins at the end of, let's say, a cave. The original Deathlords you stumble across just tumbles you. Nothing more.

Fair enough. I'll just assume the OP meant Deathlord, instead of Drauger.

I had a cool battle at my 1st or second character I remember.

¨There is another dungeon(small one) in the same area as Labyrintian. At around level 20-25 I went in there and faced a draugr deathlord armed with an ebony battleaxe. I was armed with an ebony warhammer and steel plate armor.

Since I had a fairly low armor skill the thing did a lot of damage per hit and I did very little damage against it. We had it going for maybe 5 minutes with me trying to dodge its attacks and heal before I had to move into its reach again.

I've been sent flying many times.

Facing against one of the Gauldurson guys, the one with the bow.

Loved it because when he summoned his clones, used whirlwind sprint to warp-jump to the different platforms, looked epic, like some scene out of a movie, me flash-jumping everywhere, dodgin' his arrows n' sh*t.

Draugr death overlords (boss levelled draugr, one per dungeon) have the ability to FRD you to the floor. Also draugr deathlord archers can, normal melee deathlords cannot.

Mine happened the very first time I went into Bleak Falls Barrow, so we're talking the first few hours I had the game.

I got attacked by three Draughr in a chamber. I was scrambling around and swinging my sword wildly like an idiot in a panic. As I did so, I kept hearing this "clicking" noise. Right after it I heard this random "whooshing" sound. In the chaos I figured that it was the sound of the Draughr beating my face in, or at least trying to and hitting my armor. I had no idea which Draughr was which at that point.

Finally I killed one. I wanted to congratulate myself but I knew that there were still two left. I whirled around to locate them and...they were dead. ?!?!?!

That clicking noise and whooshing sound? The pressure plate and swinging spike trap. I kept setting it off in my frenzy. It never hit me because I was running around like a madman, and it killed the other two Draughr.

1) Olaf One-Eye battle is most epic battle with draugrs for me. He is the one of few draugrs who has full fusrodah power and battling with his minions is nice too.

2) One of the most good and yet annoying battle is one against Sigdis Gauldurson. He always disarmed me :\

I forget the dungeon, but it was near the end and ended up fighting ~3 draugr deathlords at once, all who were knocking my Nord on his rear with their shouts. The most annoying thing is that when knocked down, it takes forever to get back up, and at the same time, the pc is open to attacks. Luckily, my Nord was lv 50-60 and was quite durable. Being constantly thrown around the room would have been extremely annoying on expert/master difficulty.
