I heard that there are new vampire animations and I think I remember seeing some kind of feeding in combat on gamejam. Is this true, if so has anything else been changed or added.

We dont know yet, that is rumor, and possibly dlc

All we know is that there are three new vampire animations. Attack from behind and from front, and also a "mesmerize" power which you can hypnotize an enemy before feeding on them.
