A little bit off topic, but here is as good as anywhere. I was actually slightly disappointed they didn't make more live action trailers. That was quite unexpected, and surprisingly good while it lasted; a live action trailer can so easily become a cheese-fest.

Heheh, I thought the opposite. When I saw an actor playing Dovahkiin, .... I felt really bad for that actor.

Damn 300hrs and not finished a single quest line? Hats off to you sir.

Back to topic.

Like everyone has said, rp, take your time, form an opinion based on your characters characteristics. Don't create op characters, put in blocks to obtaining wealth (alcoholic works for me), try to refrain from fast travel, don't just mindlessly take on all the quests. If your a priest or Arkay that mace of Molag Bal has no place in your inventory.

Still think the trailer is going to be more impressive, but skyrim really is epic in terms of detail. And the variety of equipment and builds is inspiring.

he cities are definitely underwhelming. They look so big from the outside, and the inside they are so compact with very little in them.

I've often wondered where exactly the place is that the Dovakhin gets backed up on the cliff edge.

Also the sweeping shot where we see the mill wheel.... its been a long time since I've seen it.

During the year we waited here for Skyrim's release after the announcement, we had a lot to think about as things were revealed, almost every week. I remember being amazed at the size of the dragon's head compared to Dovahkiin and wondered if I'd ever be able to battle something that large that could fly. I'd never fought a dragon before and it really whetted my appetite for the game...so exciting. The video of the dragon swooping down and grabbing the giant was amazing too. I find the toughest dragons are still that exciting and fun and so far, never enough. Great memories. :tes:

what is that snowy field that Dohvakiin fights the dragon? It would be awesome to stand at the edge of that cliff.
