Anyone who would like to see a future patch or DLC to allow console players (PS3/Xbox) to be able to change the spouse's clothing permanently please express your ideas here. Please do not bash Bethesda because Skyrim is simply amazing.

I would personally like to see NPCs equiping non-default items when not following. Take Lydia...I bought her default armour off her, and now, even though she's got several changes of clothes, she always walks around Breezehome in her pants. Even if I dismiss her in the frozen wilds and then catch up with her later, she'll have removed her armour.

Yeah I've wanted this for awhile on Xbox. It can get even more annoying if your spouse is someone that can't follow you, meaning you can't give them any new clothes at all.

I would enjoy making my wife wear tavern clothes over the plain dress she wears... PS3 player here in support of being able to change npc follower/wife/husbands clothes.
