But, why not put people in the Skyrim game?

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 3:11 pm

That would have been great!. One day i started the game and suddenly
i see people sneaking around in the woods, dungeons, taverns, you name it!:)
Not many players, just a handful, doing different quests and other stuff.
And off course, you would have the possibillity to enter single gameplay if you
so whish to:)

How about it guys? I think that would be the "mmo" that we all could have loved:)

its fine the way it is. it would not make sense having hundreds of Dragonborns running around doing the same quests you are doing.

I had hoped the announcement of the ES MMO would remove the need to add any sort of muliplayer in the numbered series, as well as those who keep asking for it. I guess I was wrong.

Hmm, to put it in another way. How about being able to hunt another player? To go through a dungeon with the knowledge that your enemy
could jump from a shadow anytime:) Indeed, i agree that i would not like to have hundreds of Dragonborns, but maby just a handful for the fun of it:)

Meh, i'm a tad sceptical to an MMO, but a multiplayer form of supplement would have been nice.

But if you want an actual reason it will actual cost BGS to do so because they will need dedicated servers a simple peer to peer system will not work on ___ and ___ because of its very low amount of RAM. Or buy a PC and get the very crude and unpolished MP mod.

That is a good point about the dedicated servers. (did not know about the forum thread, than you)
Hmm, maby get the workshop integrated in the multiplayer possibillity. Making the workshop a multiplayer place
for jumping into different game scenarious. Maby that could make the server issue go away a tad:) I'm just dreaming, he he:)

So kind of how Demon's Souls does it? When you're walking around the levels and you see the ghosts of other players dying/fighting and what not?
