So I'm looking to play a new style since I have played almost every character type i can think of. so I got the idea to play more of a support type character but I don't know how well it would work. here is what I figured would work so far.

Race: Altmer for magika bonus

definite Skills:

Illusion
Restoration
Sneak

Maybe skills:

Conjuration
Alteration


Basically the way I wanted to play was try to always have a follower with me and use my illusion spells to buff him/her. Also use the fury, fear, and turn undead spells as well as eventually invisibility in combat (mostly to avoid it until my follower takes care of the enemy). I would be avoiding the main quest and probably sticking to the College, thieves guild, and dark brotherhood lines.

so is there anyone who has tried this type of character before and has any advice or tips an how to go about this or if what i have would even work?
