Yes they have added raise dead spells and the zombies will fight for you. They have restrictions of course and I don't think you can have a bunch at once. (2 at a time with perks I believe), but still cool.

Th Mages Guild isn't even centered around Necromancers, Its centered around Magnus, God of Magic.

There is no mages guild anymore, its college of winterhold. And this sounds very possible to be in skyrim, we havent had necromancy as an option before and many wants it.
