How would you make your pure mage?

Seriously?

I would only use magic. Honestly.

Edit: I think that sounded harsh, but there was no intention to have it sound that way.

My pure mage will use a 2H axe and wear heavy armor, and instead of using Alteration i'll substitute it with Lockpicking.

Does it count if my mage is going to be a battle mage? I always play a battle mage in TES games when I do my magic character. Something about a guy wearing robes casting a magic shield on himself then running into battle with his sword ( 1 or 2 handed) swinging and chopping while throwing around fire just gets me going. BATTLE MAGE.

i guess theres a few options here..you could be a necromancer, a conjurer, a pure destruction-mage or something combined with an alchemist! myself im going for destruction/illusion/alteration/restoration/alchemy/enchanting

I'm thinking of making a pure "mage" in my second playthrough.
He'll be an Imperial and his name will be Jesus Christ.

Imperial: He'll be able to find coins where others wouldn't (coin in the fish's mouth)
Restoration: Heal others
Alteration: Walk on water and stuff
Illusion: emitting glow from his body, calming people
Conjuration: Raising dead people

He was arrested by the imperials and was no criminal.

I literally LOL'd when I read that, everyone in my house probably heard. Doesn't help I'm watching The Office either haha.
