Where do you think the new TES will go

Post » Mon May 07, 2012 4:57 am

Not sure if this thread is okay here but...if and when Bethesda make a new Elder Scroll(it's inevitable) 6, probably some time in 2016 (6-6-16? :P) when the new generation consoles are more than ready, what province will it take place in?

Are there any rumors anywhere, from Bethesda, on the location of TES6? Obviously it's too early to tell, but before TES5 was announced, (even before the novels) everyone seemed to assume it would take place in Eslweyr('least what I read) yet there's no mention as to why people thought so. Maybe most people want it set there I don't know...I can see them tackling Summerset Isles but it seems a little small?

I'd like to see Elsweyr, Summerset isles or Valenwood personally.

I would like to see Black Marsh even though I hate Argonians. Summerset Isles would be a nice change of scenery also.

I hope Elsweyr is next. Be cool. If not Black Marsh.

I would like to see all of Tamriel in one game. Hoping the Next Gen consoles can handle it.

there is tons of new content in skyrim! why wait for 6?

but yeah i think there is a forum for future elder scrolls games but personally i think summerset isles would be great, it would be like morrowind in the sense that its an island (chain) filled with exotic non standard fantasy type stuff and is the homeland of a race of elves who are not welcoming to outsiders. it would also be a great chance for us to see the sload and/or maomer (sea elves) in a game.

I can see them doing that......for The Elder Scrolls 137...It's far too much work and even Next Gen consoles WON'T handle that.

I'm completely find with one province at a time, therefore I can learn about each of its rich lore. If anything, a complete return to High Rock wouldn't be such a bad idea since TES2 is not on consoles/that great looking to begin with. Morrowind and Oblivion still look great, and they'll probably never return to Morro/Cyrodil unless they'd do a full Tamriel game or decided a Return to Morrowind game was the best next step.

We can keep dreaming though :P
