Slow down, people!

Post » Mon May 07, 2012 5:05 am

I see people saying things like "I will be a Nord my first, playthrough, Argonian second..." and it kinda' bugs me. I really try to soak up as much as I possibly can with one character before beating the game. I put about 110+ hours into Fallout 3, without even beating it. Try to slow down, and take in the game, dudes!

Trying to do everything with one character is exactly the opposite of what I want to do.

I think you misunderstand. These people are going to put more than 110 hours into that first character, then put well more than 110 into the second, the make a thrid and put like 300 into that one...

My first character had around 250 hours in Oblivion

then I tried various builds most of which past 50hours one of them was my alt main that played up to ~100

Or see it as a positive thing for how excited they are for the game?

Up to them how they play, so let em do that ;)

The quote you added was from me. Of course I am going to play the game fully before I do another playthrough, I always do a second playthrough with an argonian because they have a lot of advantages over human races

With TES, I play several characters at atime alternating them and taking very different lifepaths and questlines with them. that's how I enjoy it.

Exactly, sometimes I make a character and after about a week or so. I may want to start over for many reasons with a different one.

I have difficulty relating to someone who can be bugged by how someone else plays their single player game.

I made lots of characters in Morrowind, but barely did much with most of them. Most of the game I did it with one character, and I really didnt like that. Mostly it was because Morrowind could be a little unforgiving for certain builds, so I stuck with what I had, and made other types of characters just for fun. To this day, I have never done vampire quest lines and Telvanni quest line.
