Question for some computer whiz's

Post » Mon May 07, 2012 7:10 am

Now I'm decently educated when it comes to computers, but in the case of whether my computer will be able to handle Skyrim, I just can't come to a conclusion. My comp (according to CanYouRunit.com) meets all the recommended specs, except for the graphics card, which is very slightly outdated, but I'm still debating as to whether I should just get it for the PS3.
Here's my specs if any of you could comment as to whether my comp can handle it. If it's any reference, it handles Oblivion very nicely, but I know Skyrims a bit more advanced, heh. ;P

Windows 7 64 Bit
4096MB RAM
Interl® Core™ i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07GHz (4 CPUs) 3.1GHz
ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series 2292 MB

Any ideas? Thanks

Go to NewEgg.com and get a 2GB 6950. It's supposedly going to be more than enough to blow the game away. Also, you're probably going to get pointed to the Hardware thread. ^_^

Oo, Thanks for the suggestion, I just might. And thanks Salidin for that. As long as I can pull off medium-high, I'll go with PC over console.

Thanks, guys. :)
